Job Summary

In this role you will have the opportunity to provide support to the Bird Electric (Bird) team with procurement transaction activities (commodities and rentals). Will also be required to support other procurement duties, including vendor prequalification, RFQ issue, expediting, procurement administration, and package closeout as needed. May lead others with transactional responsibilities, while requiring minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinates with Bird Electric team members to obtain Bird procurement needs
Creates electronic Purchase Orders within the Foundation procurement system
Prepares, issues and manages the PO process
Ensures approvals are obtained prior to PO issue
Is capable of handling a large volume of transactions
Issues change orders based on changes in procurement requirements
Receives and pays invoices
Runs reports to track vendor PO's and invoice payment
Coordinates and troubleshoots PO and invoicing issues with vendors
Files documents for record purposes and follows Corporate and project filing rules
Administrative tasks, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Construction Management or related field (preferred)
Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree. Preferred Skills:
